Hello.  My name is Karen.  I set up Jolly Babies in 2007 and feel very privileged to sing and share musical experiences with the babies in the Exmouth area.

As well as leading Jolly Babies I am Mummy to my two children.

As the eldest of five children I always knew I wanted to work with babies and children.  I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1992 and became a Primary School Teacher in 1996.  Since then I have been working with children aged 0 - 11 years. 

I found after having my own children (2004 and 2007) that I was constantly singing to them at home and looked for a group to join where I could meet other new mums.  There was a distinct lack of music groups for babies in Exmouth so I set up Jolly Babies which enabled my husband to bring my little boy to my class which quickly grew due to the popularity of the format of the class.  The class continues to be hugely popular with the parents and babies alike and once they outgrow Jolly Babies they move onto my Music with Mummy classes (aimed at children who are confident walkers up to pre-school age)
